Preparation to meditation in the Himalayan Yoga Meditation Tradition.

The process of samadhi is the result of a series of conditions clearly explained in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. Samadhi cannot be taught, but if the conditions are right, samadhi occurs naturally. What are these prerequisites?
In this workshop, we will discover and explore them. This is a workshop, so mostly it is about practicing and experiencing. We will be learning the different steps that prepare the body and the mind for meditation.
We will :
- Find our own meditation posture,
- Understand the role of relaxation in the context of meditation.
- Refine the breath to make it conducive to meditation.
- Train the mind
Program
9:00 – 10:30 Hatha practice (including guided meditation)
10:45 – 12:30 Work on posture, relaxation, breathing, and concentration
12:30 – 13:00 Practicum: Guided meditation
