I found it in some complex Reddit thread (buried next 7 comments deep under an ad for crypto). Its not upon the App Store, but their site walks you through a workaround. Sketchy? A little. But it works.
Pros:

No watermarks.

Saves in HD. Legit 1080p+.

Audio stays in sync (youd be amazed how rare that is).

Cons:

Annoying setup.

Sometimes fails silently, as soon as it acts subsequently it saved but nada.

Interface looks later than Windows XP met a MySpace theme.

Still... its my go-to. I even have a shortcut widget.

Why doesnt Instagram just allow us pull off this? I mean, TikTok lets you keep bearing in mind audio (sorta), but IG acts taking into consideration Reels are nuclear launch codes. Wild.

Its not. I tested it for two weeks. Didnt miss a single Reel. Even the ones I forgot I watched.

Real Talk: Should You Even Be play-act This?
Ugh. Im torn. on one hand, I acquire it. We desire to keep that reel. con it to friends. Watch offline. maybe meme it later.
But creators deserve credit. suitably here's my rule: I on your own download Reels if Im using them personally. Never reposting. Never monetizing. Just hoarding, tbh.
